SLIDELL, LA – Louisiana Economic Outlook: 2018-2019, a luncheon spotlighting the economic insights of Dr. Loren Scott regarding Louisiana and St. Tammany Parish, takes place Monday, Oct. 16, at the Northshore Harbor Center, 100 Harbor Center Blvd., in Slidell, at 11:30 a.m.
Sponsored and hosted by the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, the Northshore Business Council, the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation, the St. Tammany Parish Tourist & Convention Commission, and the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature Scott, a Louisiana economist and Professor Emeritus at Louisiana State University, and St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister.
Dr. Scott's much anticipated annual report will present a regional perspective of trends and provide local business leaders with valuable information as they adopt budgets and strategies for the upcoming year.
Organizers said attendees will gain data-driven insight on the trajectory of the local and statewide economies.
Tickets cost $45 per person, $450 for a reserved table of eight.
Admission includes lunch and pre-registered businesses will receive a copy of Dr. Scott’s report (limit one per business).
