NEW ORLEANS – Krystin Frazier-Santiago has joined the New Orleans office of Gordon Arata as a member attorney. She has more than 13 years of experience in environmental, energy, and commercial litigation, as well as real estate law and business transactions.
“When evaluating opportunities and considering my career growth, I needed a firm where there wouldn’t be any ceilings. Gordon Arata is that place,” said Frazier-Santiago in a press release. “They saw my worth and what I could offer the firm. And vice versa.”
Licensed in Louisiana and Texas, Frazier-Santiago began her career in law as an associate attorney at King & Jurgens, where she defended oil-producing clients in oilfield legacy litigation, toxic tort litigation, and complex regulatory compliance issues. She built on this experience during her tenure at Kelly Hart Pitre while also expanding her work in commercial and real estate transactions. In 2020, she launched her own firm, Frazier-Santiago Law, where she acted as general counsel for small business owners throughout Louisiana and Texas. Additionally, she is a licensed title insurance agent for Fidelity National Title.
“Krystin’s diverse expertise in both litigation and transactions is one of the many reasons that we were drawn to her as a prospective member of the firm,” says Martin Landrieu, member of the management and growth committees at Gordon Arata. “She complements key practice areas and our team of attorneys in Louisiana and Texas.”
Frazier-Santiago is a graduate of Southern University Law Center. She attended Grambling State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and public relations. She graduated summa cum laude and was valedictorian of her class.
Gordon Arata is a business law firm with more than 40 attorneys in New Orleans, Lafayette and Houston.
