NEW ORLEANS – Katherine L. DeBlanc and John W. Myles are the two newest associates in the New Orleans office of law firm Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann.
“We are eager to welcome Katherine and John to the Stone Pigman team,” said Michael Walshe, chairman of Stone Pigman’s management committee. “Both of these young lawyers bring unique experiences and insights to the firm, and we are excited to see them thrive in their roles.”
DeBlanc will primarily handle trusts and estates projects, including drafting wills, acts of donations and powers of attorney. She attended the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review. While in school, she worked as a summer associate at Stone Pigman.
“I am excited about the opportunity to see my work turn into tangible results with lasting impacts for clients,” DeBlanc said. “The ability to explore different practice areas and gain exposure to various projects at Stone Pigman has been invaluable. I’m grateful to learn from and work alongside such a talented group of people.”
Myles will focus his practice primarily on corporate law and real estate transactions. He graduated from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, where he was a member of the Southern University Law Review, represented Southern University Law Center as a student ambassador, and served on the board of student advisors as a teaching assistant. He gained legal experience as a summer associate for Stone Pigman and clerked for the Orleans Public Defenders and Southeast Louisiana Legal Service.
“Stone Pigman’s wide range of practice areas allow me the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of law as a first-year associate,” said Myles. “I’m proud to work at a firm with a storied history.”
