Tulane Doctors

With expanded clinical services and a growing team of specialists, Tulane Doctors are redefining healthcare delivery in Jefferson Parish.

Tulane Doctors deliver high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the region, including a growing presence at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie. Through their partnership with LCMC Health, Tulane continues to expand services and open new clinics, making it easier for patients to access the care they need, close to home.

“This partnership has been about aligning our strengths to meet the real needs of our patients, students, and community,” says Dr. L. Lee Hamm, Senior Vice President and Dean of the Tulane University School of Medicine. “It reflects Tulane’s commitment to improving how and where we deliver care while advancing the education and training of the next generation of healthcare professionals.”

The collaboration between Tulane and LCMC Health has brought eight new operating rooms, four state-of-the-art critical care units, and 15 outpatient clinics online at East Jefferson General Hospital. The Tulane Transplant Institute marked its 100th successful solid organ transplant at the Metairie campus in 2024, and a new Heart and Lung Transplant Center will open in 2025, further expanding regional access to advanced procedures. EJGH has also benefited from major facility investments that have enhanced patient experience and supported the delivery of specialty care, advancing Tulane Doctors’ mission to deliver more comprehensive, connected care across the region.

Tulane Doctors continues to grow in Jefferson Parish, supported by streamlined scheduling and advanced digital tools. Patients can call 504-988-5000 to connect with any Tulane provider or visit tulanedoctors.com for more information.
