With 30 years of experience in the golf industry, Beth Bares, Owner of Your Golf Event, has worked with over 2,000 organizations and raised millions of dollars for charity. From the PGA TOUR to local nonprofit fundraising tournaments and hosting tournaments for conventions visiting the area, Your Golf Event has produced tournaments across Greater New Orleans and in Chicago, Baltimore, Portland, Denver and Minneapolis. Allowing corporations to entertain clients and market themselves in a unique way, golf tournaments are a unique way to offer four hours of quality time.

“My mission is to create fun and unique golf experiences and create new networking opportunities for my clients,” says Bares. Your Golf Event can also provide a tournament analyses for existing tournaments. “It’s that fresh pair of eyes that can look at your tournament to create more possibilities.”

Bares is a Certified Tournament Consultant and member of the Golf Tournament Association of America (GTAA), President of First Tee of Greater New Orleans with an MPI Award of Excellence under her belt. Before founding Your Golf Event, she worked for the Fore!Kids Foundation, running the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a PGA TOUR event.

“I started my company in 2004 in Jefferson Parish, where it continues to thrive,” she says. As a member of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, she participates in numerous networking events, connecting with corporations, working closely with nonprofits that benefit the community while providing an element of fun and entertainment.

Your Golf Event is producing a number of upcoming tournaments benefiting local organizations including First Tee of Greater New Orleans Annual Walmart Tournament, Mount Carmel Academy, Boys Hope, AIA New Orleans, Jefferson Advocacy Center -Tees FORE!
