Who We Are
Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union was first chartered in 1966 and operated from a small, second-floor office space above a Jefferson Parish florist—today, five decades later, Jefferson Financial continues to serve and advance the community from 14 branches across Louisiana. The member-owned, not-for-profit credit union is now comprised of more than 52,000 members across six Louisiana parishes, making it the third-largest credit union in the region. With over 175 employees, Jefferson Financial FCU is focused on its members’ financial success, including that of its newest Northshore members serviced from two branch locations in Mandeville.
“While the larger financial industry has been consolidating over the last 30 years, Jefferson Financial continues to be a significant, growth-oriented company dedicated to serving our members and educating others about the benefits of credit union membership,” says Mark Rosa, CEO.
Rosa and his team are excited about the newest location on Highway 22 that offers self-service ITM units in the drive-thru, which are available to members with 24/7 account access. Members are able to deposit cash and checks, withdraw cash, transfer funds between accounts, make loan payments and print mini statements at the units. The new technology is also available at the 3900 Veterans Blvd. location in Metairie.
