Jefferson Community Health Care Centers Hosts "Fall, Foodies, and Festivities"

NEW ORLEANS – Jefferson Community Health Care Centers announces the second annual Fall Foodies and Festivities, presented by Louisiana Healthcare Connections. The fundraising event takes place on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Bucktown Harbor Marina (325 Metairie-Hammond Highway, Metairie, LA 70005), from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

“We’re so excited to bring this fun family event to the community in order to raise funds for Jefferson Community Health Care Centers (JCHCC), to build a new clinic in a hard to reach area, (and) to expand the needed services to those who would not traditionally receive quality and affordable healthcare,” said JCHCC CEO Dr. Shondra Williams.

Fall Foodies and Festivities will feature food by local area restaurants, including Dooky Chase's Restaurant, Willie Mae's Scotch House, and Barrow's Catfish. Guests can enjoy live music from The Top Cats, Shamarr Allen, and DJ Spike AKA 3127. The family-friendly event will also offer a kids’ area with a bounce house, and face painting, among other treats.
