METAIRIE, LA – The Jefferson Chamber Young Professionals will present the First Annual Fat City Festival to Jefferson Parish on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at 18th Street (blocked off from N. Arnault to Edenborn), in Metairie, LA.
Organizers say this free and open to the public festival will showcase the heart of Fat City and the changes and redevelopment that have taken place over the years.
The Rummel High School band and the Grace King High School band will kick off the festival with a parade. Bag of Donuts will perform for the rest of the festival. There will be booths representing local businesses, food, drinks, craft vendors, giveaways, contests, face painting and more.
Special Fat City Fest T-shirts created by Fleurty Girl will be on sale at the festival.
