There is still time to take part in a survey that will help to shape the economic development priorities for Jefferson Parish. The survey is part of an update to the Jefferson Parish long-term economic development strategic plan, The Jefferson EDGE.The plan is overseen by the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO).Â
The Jefferson EDGE has been the roadmap for Jefferson Parish’s economic development strategies since 2000, with regular updates to align priorities with contemporary needs. As part of the current five-year update for this plan, JEDCO invested businesses, employees, community leaders, and other stakeholders to participate in a brief survey to share strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities for growth. The information you provide will help inform the strategies intended to guide Jefferson Parish’s economic growth over the next five years.
This survey is being conducted on the behalf of JEDCO by TIP Strategies, an Austin-based economic strategy firm that is leading the strategic planning process. The survey is completely confidential. No identifying information is collected, and results of the survey will be provided in aggregate only.
All survey responses must be completed by 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31.
