AVONDALE, La. – For some people, the idea of public speaking can be daunting, but it doesn't have to be. Squelching the fear of speaking before a crowd can help a business owners better connect with customers, increase sales, and foster new business opportunities. An upcoming seminar will give business owners the tools to make that happen.
As part of the 2019 Prosper Jefferson seminar series, JEDCO & the Jefferson Chamber are hosting seminar to help guests enhance their public speaking skills.
Three public speaking experts will share the tips and techniques that will result in a successful presentation.
The topics include:
- How to overcome your fear of public speaking
- How to deliver high impact presentations
- How to develop effective PowerPoint presentations
- Improving your elevator pitch
The event takes place on Wednesday, March 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the JEDCO Conference Center on the West Bank (701A Churchill Parkway, Avondale, La. 70094). A $5 admission includes breakfast. Guests can register here.
