AVERY ISLAND, LA – Jason West has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer at McIlhenny Company, maker of Tabasco® Brand products.
In this role, West will manage marketing efforts for the iconic brand, drawing from his experience as the former Chief Marketing Officer for Heinz North America. There, he managed the Heinz North America brand equity strategies, leading the long-term business planning process, category insights and consumer communications.

Jason brings 15 years of senior marketing leadership experience to the Tabasco brand. His seasoned career includes a variety of brand management, research and development, sales and marketing roles, managing major food brands for global companies like Heinz and P&G. With a strong background in finance, Jason has also served as an Investment Banking Analyst at NationsBank.
Jason holds a Business Administration degree from Texas A&M for Finance and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He and his family will be relocating to New Orleans from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
