NEW ORLEANS — Law firm Kean Miller has announced the addition of Jacques P. Landrieu as an associate. Landrieu joins Kean Miller in the New Orleans office, where he practices with the energy and environmental litigation group. Prior to joining the firm, he represented clients in matters involving property and casualty, insurance coverage, bad faith and extra contractual claims, insurance fraud, automobile casualty, commercial litigation, and general civil litigation.
Prior to private practice, Landrieu served as a senior trial attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, sitting first chair for the State of Louisiana for all non-capital felony cases in Section B of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. He has previously tried multiple jury and bench trials and has argued numerous motion hearings.
Landrieu earned his J.D. from the Tulane University Law School in 2017. He earned his B.A. in history and minors in financial economics and corporate strategy from Vanderbilt University in 2013.
