NEW ORLEANS — Strauss Massey Dinneen has announced that Jacob Williams has joined the firm as an associate attorney. He focuses primarily on insurance defense and coverage litigation. He also has experience representing and advising clients on a variety of transactions and corporate governance matters as well as intellectual property and oil and gas litigation and transactions.
Williams graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2020, earning a Juris Doctorate with a certificate in law, technology and entrepreneurship. While in law school he was a research assistant, member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, on the board of the Advocacy Center and was selected to join the Order of the Barristers. He served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Kurt D. Engelhardt, United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, in the summer of 2018.
Before beginning his legal career, Williams obtained his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.
Williams is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State and Federal District Courts.
