NEW ORLEANS – Organizers of the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, held from Nov. 2-4, in New Orleans, will hold a Welcome Party sponsored by Aristech Surfaces LLC to celebrate the opening of the event, which brings together all segments of the pool, spa, and outdoor living industries.
The Welcome Party will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., at Generations Hall, a block from the Ernest N. Morial Convention, where the exposition is held. The Welcome Party is sponsored by Aristech Surfaces, an exhibitor at the PSP Expo, and will include refreshments, music and an opportunity for industry peers to network.
“The Welcome Party at Generations Hall not only celebrates the opening of the show, but showcases a beautiful city that is rich in culture and flavor,” said Tracy Garcia, CEM, Show Director. “It has become an annual attraction that gives attendees a great chance to mingle off the floor.”
More than 11,500 pool, spa, and outdoor living professionals attend the PSP Expo. More than 525 manufacturers and suppliers occupy over 135,000 square feet of exhibits. The last time that the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo met in New Orleans was in 2012. This year’s conference is projected to generate an estimated $13.5 million in economic impact for the city.
The International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo is the must-attend event for the pool, spa and backyard professional to stay abreast of trends, market directions and cutting-edge technology, event organizers said. Products displayed at the event go beyond pools, spas and hot tubs. Residential backyard living products also include water features, casual furniture, barbeques, grills, lighting, landscape décor, hearth, outdoor lighting and more. In addition to products serving the residential market, attendees will be able to source an array of products geared to the commercial market including pumps, motors, filters, heaters, sanitation systems and maintenance equipment. Several add-on educational opportunities will be offered during the conference by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) and Genesis.
Rebranded in 2008, the show is made up of the former International Pool & Spa Expo, Backyard Living Expo and AQUA Shows. The official show sponsor is APSP; the official show publication is Pool & Spa News; and the official show endorser is Genesis. Formerly owned by APSP, the show was sold to Hanley Wood Exhibitions in February 2001. Hanley Wood Exhibitions was acquired by Informa Exhibitions U.S. in December 2014.
Admission to the Welcome Party is included in all conference registration packages and may be purchased a la carte by attendees with an Expo Only pass for $65.
