NEW ORLEANS — According to a press release, Integra Realty Resources (IRR), one of North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation and consulting firms, continued its strategic expansion with the opening of two new local offices: IRR-New Orleans and IRR-Little Rock.
The opening of these new mid-south, full-service offices, aligns with IRR’s aggressive growth strategy. With the openings of IRR-New Orleans and IRR-Little Rock, the company has added 17 offices nationwide, launched IRR-Hotels, a hotels specialty practice group, and significantly expanded its Litigation Practice Group and Healthcare & Senior Housing specialty practice.
John R. Praytor, MAI, who serves as executive director of IRR’s network of mid-south regional offices, including IRR-Memphis, IRR-Gulfport and IRR-Jackson as executive director, will lead the two new offices, along with James "Jim" O. Turner, II, MAI, who will serve as territorial director of IRR-New Orleans office (643 Magazine Street, Suite 330).

Praytor adds: “These new office openings are a natural evolution. We’ve long served these markets from our other mid-south regional offices, but both New Orleans and Little Rock are growing markets and the timing was right to expand. Our local clients are extremely happy to have us even closer to them now, and we’re thrilled to be able to service these markets more competitively with an on the ground team.”
Praytor brings more than 30 years of broad experience as an appraiser and consultant, having worked across all real estate product types. Prior to joining IRR in 2013, he founded Praytor Appraisal Services. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, the Jackson Association of REALTORS, and the Mississippi Association of REALTORS. He is a licensed real estate broker and real estate appraiser in Mississippi. He is also a licensed appraiser in Tennessee, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
He earned his MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate and insurance from Delta State University.
Turner started his appraisal career in 2003 with Praytor Appraisal Services in Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to joining IRR in 2014, he worked for JLT Realty where he provided real estate valuation and consultation services, along with Right of Way consultation. Turner brings experience across all types of real estate, as well as specialty expertise with public improvement development by aiding with feasibility analysis driven design to minimize property damages, right of entry agreements, appraisal, appraisal review, acquisition, and settlement negotiation processes. The Greenwood, Mississippi native holds a a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate and insurance from Delta State University. He holds the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a licensed appraiser in Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia and Texas.
