As a full-service technology company, In-Telecom provides customized solutions for cloud telephone, voice over IP, managed IT services, video conferencing, cyber security and data backup, physical security, internet services, and more. The Northshore-based business is known for crushing technology challenges while providing an exceptional customer experience. In-Telecom helps guide clients—from small businesses to large corporations and governmental entities—toward efficiency and growth with solutions customized and scaled to their specific needs and budget. An example of this occurred during the 2020 pandemic.
“Many businesses were faced with unprecedented technological hurdles,” says Shawn Torres, CEO. “In-Telecom stepped up to support new and current clients as well as critical community partners with the infrastructure and services needed to continue to operate their businesses.”
Another example was how In-Telecom successfully transitioned Netchex to a fully remote work environment.
“The solutions In-Telecom implemented for our company was a game changer,” says Brian Laiche, Director of Service Operations with Netchex. “Not only do we have access to call recording, real time metrics, and reporting but it was all hands-on customized for our needs. The quality assurance we now provide to our customers is world class.”

Who We Are
Established in 2009, In-Telecom started as a vision for innovative communication strategies and has grown into a thriving technology enterprise in the span of only 12 years. Founded and led by Shawn Torres and Jimmy Burns, In-Telecom consists of a dynamic team yet to meet a challenge they were unwilling to conquer. Over the years, In-Telecom has evolved into a team of technology experts excelling across a variety of service lines, including cloud-based communication systems, security and surveillance systems, and management of information technology for small and mid-sized companies.
Today, In-Telecom employs over 35 full-time staff members across two locations and holds multiple recognitions such as being one of Inc. 5000’s fastest growing companies in America for 2020.
As a company, In-Telecom feels strongly about supporting the community, its businesses, and non-profits such as Starc of LA, Hospice House, and St. Tammany Cribs for Kids. On Friday October 1, In-Telecom will host the 1st Annual Community Wins Golf Tournament at Oak Harbor Golf Club in Slidell to benefit Starc of LA. The Community Wins Foundation was formed by the owners of In-Telecom to support and provide funding to the local non-profit organizations who lost significant income during the pandemic.
