NEW ORLEANS – Idea Kraft, a New Orleans creative agency that specializes in branding, packaging and website design, announced the winner of its first Re-Kraft event in New Orleans: NOLA_CODE.
Idea Kraft reps will volunteer their time to help NOLA_CODE by providing a free brand makeover and new website during the 48-hour branding event, from Thursday Oct. 12 – Friday, Oct. 13, at Cherry Espresso, 4877 Laurel St.
Idea Kraft reps said NOLA_CODE brings computer science and computer engineering instruction to schools and community centers throughout the Greater New Orleans area, and that a rebrand and new website will help NOLA_CODE expand into more schools in New Orleans, and provide opportunities to as many children as possible.
Idea Kraft reps believe that educating our children, especially in the STEM fields, is crucial for the long term success and growth of New Orleans. Teaching kids to code and think from an engineering perspective from a young age improves critical thinking, gives confidence and inspires kids to explore, they said.
Re-Kraft sponsors include Cherry Espresso, multimedia company Gigsy, and tech consultants Inroads Tech.
Idea Kraft is located in New Orleans and Binghamton, New York.
