NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday, April 21, 2016, Hynes Charter School celebrated Financial Awareness Week with the help of WYES, Curious George, and Whitney Bank.
As part of Financial Awareness Week, Holly Henderson from Whitney Bank read Hynes Kindergarteners the story “Curious George Saves His Pennies” and talked to the students about the importance of saving at an early age.
WYES sent Curious George in person to the event.
