NEW ORLEANS – Gretchen B. Perkins, partner at Huron Capital Partners, will be the keynote speaker for ACG Louisiana’s 5th Annual Taste of New Orleans on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at The Roosevelt Hotel, 130 Roosevelt Way.
ACG Louisiana’s Taste of New Orleans is a one-day, all day conference of networking and educational events for business professionals interested in deal making, corporate growth and access to capital. The conference presents an opportunity for business owners, investment bankers, accountants, lawyers, CFO’s and other deal professionals to network with private equity investors, venture capitalists, angel investors and other providers of capital.
Perkins is responsible for managing Huron's business development and investment sourcing activities, including outreach to deal professionals such as business brokers, investment banks, attorneys, accountants and consultants.
Perkins has over 25 years of experience in the finance and business development sectors serving a variety of capital market participants. Prior to joining Huron, Perkins led the acquisition sourcing efforts at Long Point Capital, a middle market private equity fund. Perkins also served as Vice President – Business Development for IRN, Inc., a market research firm, and has held senior business development positions at Fleet Capital Corporation and GE Capital Corporation, where she originated and structured senior debt packages for buyouts of middle-market companies.
Perkins received her B.B.A. from the University of Michigan and has many Board affiliations including: Director at Large – Association for Corporate Growth, Inc. Global Board of Directors, a Director for the Detroit, Michigan Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Co-Chair of the ACG's Public Policy Committee, a Board Member for the Michigan Chapter of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, and a Mentor for the Women of Tomorrow organization which mentors at-risk high school girls.
