METAIRIE, LA – Humana, health benefits provider to more than six-million service men and women and their families across the country, will hold a free Veterans Health and Services Fair Monday, Nov. 6, at its new Metairie neighborhood location, 747 Veterans Blvd., from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Several Greater New Orleans veterans and health groups, including the American Heart Association, Military 1 Source, Care Patrol, LA Womens Veterans, Aortic Aneurysm Association, Bastion Community of Resilience and Team Red White and Blue, will have information on their services and organizations at the fair. There will also be activities to recognize and honor area veterans in advance of Veterans Day.
Humana’s Metairie neighborhood location at 747 Veterans Blvd. location is open to the public 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and hosts a wide range of free health and wellness activities and programs, reps said.
