NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans & Company will host a Job Fest at East New Orleans Read Library located at 5641 Read Blvd. on Wednesday, August 29 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. The event will feature new job openings from dozens of the industry’s top employers in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industry, ranging from entry level to managerial positions. Community partners such as Job 1 and Daughters of Charity will also be in attendance. Interested attendees are encouraged to bring an updated resume, though it is not required.
This event is the sixth Job Fest hosted by New Orleans & Company in 2018 and is part of a bigger list of events promoting local advocacy in the city, including job shadow opportunities, tourism advocacy training and more.

The Job Fest is part of an effort to connect job seekers to careers in the hospitality and tourism industry across New Orleans.
