NEW ORLEANS – Tonight, Monday, February 1, 2016, the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation will host the annual Horses, Hops and Cops fundraiser from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the N.O.P.D. Mounted Division horse stables in New Orleans City Park.
The event is free for all ages to attend and will be held rain or shine.
Southern Eagle Sales and Service, the New Orleans-area Budweiser distributor, continues to partner with the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation to co-produce the event, which raises money for the N.O.P.D. Mounted Division.
Attendees will enjoy live music from The Beverage Committee and Imaginary Frenz, food and beverages including Budweiser, Coca-Cola, & PJ’s Coffee products, arts and craft vendors selling local handmade goods, children’s face painting and the opportunity to have a professional photo taken with a Budweiser Clydesdale horse. There will also be an on-site raffle for a chance to win a ride for two on the Budweiser Clydesdale wagon in the 2016 Krewe of Argus Mardi Gras day parade (winner and guest must be 21 or older to ride – food, drink and throws are provided.)
Local business partners who are helping to make this event successful include Southern Eagle Sales and Service, Reinhart Foodservice, Coca-Cola, Zatarain’s, Manda Fine Meats, Kel Kat Equipment and Materials, PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, Drago’s Seafood Restaurant, Entercom Radio and JeffersonParishParent.com.
With support from the community, essential funds will be raised at Horses, Hops and Cops for acquisition of new horses for the N.O.P.D. Mounted Division, as well as additional training and technical equipment for police officers of the 8th District’s Mounted Division.
