Homeless Veteran Featured In Old Metairie Art Show

METAIRIE, LA – Lisa Carey of Veterans Housing Outreach Ministries, which houses, feeds, clothes and creates jobs for homeless, disabled, senior and female veterans, is sponsoring a free Homeless Veterans' Art Show and Exhibition, in Jefferson Parish Old Metairie's Library, 2350 Metairie Rd., to support homeless veterans.

         Homeless Air Force veteran artist William Mullany’s works will be on featured. He and other artists who have chosen to team up will help support homeless veterans by collecting donations and dropping off canned food items for the cause.

         The Art Show and Exhibition will be on display Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for the entire months of April and May.

         There will be a TBA meet and greet event where the public can meet and talk to the artists while enjoying free food and drinks.
