Home Bank Welcomes Kelly As Community Reinvestment Act Officer

LAFAYETTE, LA – Home Bank announced Brandon Kelly has joined the company as Vice President/ Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer. Kelly brings a wealth of community development, marketing and public relations expertise to his new position, including, most recently, 10 years as Business Development Officer for the Baton Rouge-based EFCU Financial Federal Credit Union, company reps said. He will work in all Home Bank service areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to enhance community outreach efforts, manage the bank’s CRA program and promote banking services and lending to low-and moderate-income families and underserved communities. 

         “Brandon comes to us with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for community involvement and outreach,” Chief Credit Officer Darren Guidry said. “His experience in cultivating relationships with community and not-for-profit leaders is sure to enhance our efforts to discover and meet the needs of low-and moderate-income individuals in our banking communities across South Louisiana and Mississippi.”

         Kelly is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Louisiana Council on Economic Education and as Financial Committee Chair for Jordan United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge. He is an active member of the Louisiana Jump$tart Coalition on Personal Financial Literacy, Forum 35, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge and Acadiana. Kelly is also a graduate of the John W. Barton, Sr. Community Leadership Development Fellowship.
