HCCL Boosts Regional Business
Beyond the festival, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana has expanded its impact through major events in 2025 such as the Lafayette Business Conference and the annual Excelencia Gala held in September. Both events were designed to strengthen Louisiana’s Hispanic business community.
“Reflecting on the work of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana (HCCL) over the past years, I am incredibly proud of our growth, our impact, and the meaningful strides we have made,” said Mayra E. Pineda, HCCL President & CEO. “These accomplishments not only support our vibrant Hispanic community but also contribute significantly to the economic development of Louisiana. I am especially grateful for the strong partnerships and relationships we’ve cultivated—each one helping us move our mission forward in powerful ways.”
HCCL business events connect entrepreneurs with corporate and government partners, offer bilingual training and procurement resources, and help Hispanic-owned firms access new contracts and growth opportunities across the state.
“As our community continues to grow locally, regionally, and nationally, so too do the challenges we face,” said Pineda. “There is still important work ahead to ensure our voices are represented and that policy outcomes reflect our contributions and needs.”
