SLIDELL, LA – Hearts and Paws United will hold its first-ever pet adoption festival on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the PetSmart in Fremaux Town Center, at 290 Town Center Pkwy., Slidell, LA.
From 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., volunteers will provide demonstrations, raffles, face-painting, pet-family photography, food and drink to all comers. The event is a family-friendly way to encourage pet adoption, and has been dubbed "Paws for Celebration."
"Pets are great blessings to people of all ages, and so many adoptable animals remain in shelters," said Star Lala, of Hearts and Paws United. "This event will be a really good time, but it will also be a wonderful opportunity for families to visit with pets and find the perfect match for their families."
