NEW ORLEANS — Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company President Guy T. Williams announced today that Rodney Senat has been appointed to Vice President and Branch Manager at the Slidell Office located at 1900 Oak Harbor Blvd.
Mr. Senat returns to the banking industry after owning and operating a Chick-fil-A Restaurant in Slidell for 15 years. Prior to that time, he had a thirteen-year banking career where he specialized in business banking, credit underwriting, audit, loan review and retail banking. Mr. Senat holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of New Orleans.
As a restaurant owner, Mr. Senat received the New Chamber Member of the Year Award from the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. He helped schools & their PTAs in Slidell, Pearl River, and Lacombe by rewarding students for honor rolls, positive behavior, and good attendance. Mr. Senat also supported non-profits and other organizations in their fundraising efforts.
Mr. Senat shared his motto, “Your ‘Why’ is your purpose. It motivates you and keeps you focused. It’s about not just knowing what we do and how we do something, but the why behind it. My ‘Why’ is, and always has been, to help & serve others.” Mr. Senat added that he is delighted to be with Gulf Coast Bank because his “Why” is also the bank’s mission.
Mr. Senat is married to Michelle Luter Senat and they have three children. He enjoys camping with his family and traveling with his children’s softball and soccer teams.
