NEW ORLEANS — Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company welcomes two experienced Commercial Lenders to its Westbank Branches.
Randy L. Scheuermann, Jr., Vice President Commercial Lender joins the Manhattan Branch located at 1901 Manhattan Blvd. Building F, Suite 100, in Harvey. Randy comes to Gulf Coast Bank with 18 years banking experience. He grew up on the Westbank where he attended West Jefferson High School and studied business management at the University of New Orleans. Randy is heavily engaged serving the Westbank community volunteering hundreds of hours for various ministries in the Visitation of Our Lady Parish. He enjoys spending time with his sons and all three are first-degree black belts in Taekwondo. When asked why he joined Gulf Coast Bank, Randy replied, “After working 18+years for ‘Big Banks’ on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish, it is refreshing to finally offer my financial services expertise at an institution as fully entrenched in the community as I am.”
Rickie Dufrene, Commercial Lender joins our Gretna Branch, 201 Huey P. Long Avenue with 15 years of banking experience. He too grew up on the Westbank and has a B.S in Marketing and Business Administration and Management from the University of New Orleans. Rickie is active in the Westbank community serving as an officer of the Westwego Rotary and President and Founder of the Marrero Academy Dad’s Club. He enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, playing golf with his daughter and is an avid Saints and LSU fan. When asked why he joined Gulf Coast Bank, Rickie replied, “It feels good to know I work for a bank that has just as much interest in my community as I do. Also because of my 15-year banking career, I recognize how important it is for customers to have a close relationship with a local bank. That goes a long way.”
