NEW ORLEANS – Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company has announced the acquisition of American Business Lending, Inc. – a Dallas-based SBA lender. Gulf Coast Bank retained American Business Lending’s staff and management team, merging operations of American Business Lending with its Gulf Coast SBA Lending business headquartered in Dallas, TX. Moving forward, the combined venture will be referred to as Gulf Coast SBA Lending. The announcement was made by Guy Williams, President of Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company.
American Business Lending, Inc., now Gulf Coast SBA Lending, was founded in Dallas in 2006 as a non-bank SBA 7(a) lender. Over the past 11 years, it provided loans to numerous small businesses across the country. American Business Lending, Inc. was advised by Houlihan Lokey.
Gulf Coast SBA Lending is a national lender, offering SBA 7(a), 504 and USDA B&I loans ranging up to $5,000,000 and more to small businesses in a variety of industries. Gulf Coast SBA Lending was formed earlier this year when Gulf Coast Bank acquired Dallas-based CapitalSpring SBLC and consolidated all of its SBA lending activity in the Dallas headquarters. With the addition of American Business Lending, Inc., Gulf Coast SBA Lending now services nearly $300 million of SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.
