Grow St. Bernard Announces Fall ‘Lunch And Learn’ Series

CHALMETTE, LA – The St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation (SBEDF) and the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce announced the expansion of “Grow St. Bernard,” a professional development series created to provide business owners and professionals with the practical skills necessary to grow their companies.
Organizers have released a fall “Lunch and Learn” series schedule which will take place on a monthly basis in September, October, and November from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursdays.
Attendees can build their skill set and expand their network with each 90-minute seminar, organizers said. Each “Lunch and Learn” will begin with a 30-minute networking lunch followed by one hour of instruction and practical application.
“We are thrilled to expand our Grow St. Bernard programming by offering individual seminars on hyper-specific topics,” Andrew Jacques, executive director of SBEDF, said. “Participants will receive hands-on training by our speakers and leave with not only information, but with the first steps to implement the strategies presented.”
Topics include digital marketing, accounting, and public speaking.
