KENNER, LA – Greenup Industries ranks 208 in Inc. 5000’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
Over the years, this list has included companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Chobani, Oracle and Zappos.com.
Greenup Industries is one of 47 firms from Louisiana on the list.
President and namesake of Greenup Industries, Rodney Greenup, incorporated the business in December 2012. With less than five years under its belt, the company and its leadership have earned recognition in their industry both locally and nationally, reps said.
Greenup Industries saw a 2,079 percent increase in revenue over three years to $14.9 million. With safety and diversity at the forefront of the company’s priorities for growth, Greenup Industries shows no sign of slowing down, reps said.
Greenup Industries is currently expanding its in-house specialty services, corrosion services and instrumentation and controls services in particular. The team is also in the process of adding new services in the areas of engineering, environmental and surveying, through acquisition.
Other plans for growth include expanding the company’s client base to include utilities and automotive manufacturers. One way Greenup plans to accomplish all of this is by opening offices in Texas and Mississippi in the near future, reps said.
