On June 14 Port of New Orleans Environmental Scientist Emily Federer accepted the Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership award on behalf of the Port. The Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership (SLCFP) is a coalition of vehicle fleet managers and operators; alternative fuel, vehicle and technology providers; local, state and federal government agencies; and other organizations interested in promoting policies and practices that diversify transportation fuel options, improve the environment and reduce fleets’ operational costs. The SLCFPrecognized the Port’s leadership and dedication in clean transportation initiatives — including the Port’s addition of electric cars to our fleet of vehicles.
