NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday, Aug. 26, the Power Coalition, which includes the Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance (GNOHA) and other nonprofits involved in various areas of social justice, will launch its statewide Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign to re-enroll and re-engage 32,000 voters and garner support for the "Put Housing First" platform.
The launch will include a press conference event from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Community Center, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., followed by canvassing from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the surrounding neighborhood.
