NEW ORLEANS – The Greater Mid-City Business Association announced plans to host Vineaux on da Bayou, a wine tasting event at the Pearl Wine Co. located at 3700 Orleans Ave., on Saturday, November 21, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mid-City will be stomping the grapes to the sounds of a jazz band in preparation for the holiday season when Vineaux on da Bayou offers visitors an opportunity to sample and purchase the season’s best wines from small production wineries at discounted prices in a casual, outdoor setting near Bayou St. John.
The Whitney Bank VIP Tasting Room will offer premium wine tastings and catering, and a portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Greater Mid-City Business Association.
Tickets are now available online at for $35, and they include wine tastings from seven local wine distributors and food by Katie’s, Treo’s, Parkway Bakery, St. James Cheese Co. and Toulouse Gourmet.
