NEW ORLEANS ― The Greater Mid-City Business Association today announced plans to host Hooked on Mid-City, a Pirate Pub Crawl which will celebrate National Talk like a Pirate Day.
Hooked on Mid-City will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Registration and pre-party shenanigans will kick off at 5:00 p.m. at Tréo located at 3835 Tulane Ave. At 6:15 p.m. the group of pirates will head to the Tulane Avenue Bar, followed by Twelve Mile Limit at 7:00 p.m. and Finn McCool’s at 7:45 p.m.
Hooked on Mid-City will end the night at DMac’s with live music and a huge after party.
Hooked on Mid-City organizers encourage all participants to dress like a pirate. The event will include a best pirate costume contest, the best pirate joke contest and the best Arrrggg contest.
Hooked on Mid-City tickets are $25 and they include access to each bar, admission to the after party and five specialty rum cocktails that will be served at each bar along the pub crawl route.
