NEW ORLEANS – The Google Cultural Institute announced a partnership with the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) today, which will make a portion of NOMA’s permanent art collection available online to a global audience.

Users can explore a wide range of artworks at brushstroke level detail, take a virtual tour of artifacts and even build their own collections to share. The main goal is to help make historical and cultural material accessible to more people via the Internet and by doing so, inspire fans to come experience more in person.
