Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Accepting Applications

NEW ORLEANS – The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in partnership with Delgado Community College is now accepting applications for the Spring 2016 Session.

         The deadline to apply is Monday, October 5, 2015.

         There will be an online information session Thursday, October 1, which will include an overview of the 10,000 Small Businesses program, details about the application and the opportunity for applicants to ask questions.

         Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a program for small businesses that links learning to action. Through the program, participants will gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing, and employee management that can immediately be put into action. In addition, they will receive the tools and professional support to develop a strategic and customized growth plan that will take their business to the next level.

         Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed for business owners who have a business poised for growth. They look for applicants who are passionate about growing their business, creating jobs in their communities, and who generally meet these criteria:

 

• Owner or co-owner of a business

• Business in operation for at least two years

• Business above $150,000 in the most recent fiscal year

• Business with the equivalent of four employees (including the owner)
