NEW ORLEANS – The Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association announced David Teich is their new president.
Teich has been General Manager of the highly acclaimed Windsor Court Hotel for over 7 years. He serves on many boards including the Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association, The Arts Council of New Orleans (Executive Committee), French Quarter Festivals Inc., the New Orleans Tourism and Marketing Corporation and the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau.
He has nearly forty years of experience in the hospitality industry with many different hotels. Prior to joining the Windsor Court, Teich was with Orient-Express' most celebrated hotel, Charleston Place, located in the heart of historic Charleston, SC. Teich held several positions with the hotel since 1996 including Director of Operations and Food and Beverage Director.
Prior to joining Orient-Express Hotels, he held management positions with the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables FL, Holiday Inn Hotels and Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego CA.
Throughout his career, Teich has been active in several community organizations including the United Way, Urban League, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, City Planning groups as well as hospitality industry associations.
Teich is a native New Yorker. He is married and father of three.
