NEW ORLEANS – GNO, Inc. announced plans to lead a second business mission and international summit, from Jan. 20-24, 2018, called “London Calling.”
In preparation of the trip, GNO, Inc. partner Colin McCullough of OCO Global – director of the UK and Ireland Division – will be in New Orleans to lead a discussion with stakeholders who want to learn more about the summit and the London/UK economic market in general, on Friday, Oct. 20, at the GNO, Inc. Board Conference Room, 1100 Poydras St., Suite 3475, at 10:00 a.m.
To attend, RSVP to rshields@gnoinc.org
Intended to foster a better understanding of the post-Brexit economic landscape and the business opportunities for Greater New Orleans in that context, London Calling participants will literally get on board the British Airways 787 Dreamliner flight between New Orleans and London and learn about all of the economic and cultural opportunities this connection will afford.
The initiative is intended not only to celebrate the new flight, but also to foster a deeper understanding of London and the UK’s post-Brexit economic landscape, while exploring commerce opportunities for stakeholders of the Gulf Coast.
GNO, Inc.’s delegation will include key corporate executives, elected officials, and top community leaders from a diverse set of industry sectors. While in London, attendees will hear from experts, business leaders and government officials across a number of sectors including energy, advanced manufacturing, digital/technology and creative and more. Participants will also have the supplemental opportunity to engage in private, curated business discussions with UK companies interested in mutually beneficial opportunities.
The $2,995 price is inclusive of roundtrip airfare, three nights lodging at The Mayfair Hotel London, meals and all summit activities.
GNO, Inc. has engaged the London firm OCO Global to co-produce this initiative.
The registration deadline is Nov. 30, and registration is not confirmed until all fees are paid in full. Fees become nonrefundable on Nov. 30.
Participants are required to execute a Hold Harmless Agreement provided by GNO, Inc. prior to departure.
GNO, Inc.’s first “London Calling” summit took place from June 3-7.
