Mission: Gallo Mechanical continues to celebrate our employees’ commitment to their communities and the places where we live and work.
Thomas Lewis is the Director of IT for Gallo Mechanical and has devoted his philanthropic time and talents to Moisant Kiwanis over the past 13 years. Thomas has also served our community as Moisant Kiwanis President for two years and is currently a Board Member at Large.
Through his volunteerism with Moisant Kiwanis, Thomas has been able to support meaningful projects locally and regionally. His first project focused on redeveloping a women’s and children’s shelter, adding a playground, and improving safety on the grounds.
 “The kids were so excited once they realized that this was something just for them and was being offered to them,” says Lewis.
Thomas and the Moisant Kiwanis are also on pointe for Hurricane Relief. After devastating Hurricanes Laura and Marco in Lafayette, Thomas and his team left from New Orleans with a trailer full of pallets of food, water, and clothes. With hearts and hands committed to serving, they set up in a Church parking lot in Lafayette and supported people who had been directly impacted and devastated by the storms.
Every year, you can find Thomas and the Kiwanis at the Jazz Fest Beer tent –where they raise money to support their service projects and community engagements.
Gallo Mechanical has supported Thomas and his Moisant Kiwanis team through direct donations and participating in volunteer events.
Cole Landry is a Gallo Mechanical Project Manager in New Orleans and is celebrating his 4th year of service with Hogs for the Cause: Team 2nd Hand Smokers. Cole is focused on benefiting the lives of children with pediatric brain cancer in meaningful ways. Working with his team, he raises money and awareness about pediatric brain cancer, fully embracing the Hog’s Motto: “Together We Can Do Something Great.”.
Gallo Mechanical supports and sponsors Cole’s work, raising money and awareness for this devastating condition. We also celebrate our employees’ commitment to supporting the community where we live and work.

Gallo has expanded to Beaumont, TX; Biloxi, MS; Pensacola, FL; Charleston, Charlotte, & Raleigh, NC. With over 540 total employees, Gallo remains committed to supporting the causes that our people care about and put their energy and efforts towards. Gallo is honored to celebrate our 3rd annual Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament in October 2024. Over the past two years, our team has raised $45,000 that goes directly to the Wounded Warrior Project, contributing to lifesaving programs and services for our wounded warriors and their families.
