Mission: To improve the health of our community and to be a presence of Jesus’ love in the lives of all we serve.
DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) has been providing compassionate health care to the New Orleans community for nearly two centuries, carrying on the Mission and legacy of its founders, the Daughters of Charity. Like its founders, DCHC is focused on addressing the health of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. DCHC operates eleven community health centers in Algiers, the Bywater, Carrollton, Gentilly, Harvey, Kenner, Lakeside, Desire, Metairie, New Orleans East, and Central City.
DePaul Community Health Centers strives to provide high-quality, comprehensive, affordable health care for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Giving special attention to underserved communities in New Orleans, DCHC seeks to address disparities in healthcare equity and access by breaking down barriers that interfere with positive health outcomes by offering various services for all ages: Primary and Preventive Care for children and adults, OB/GYN & Prenatal Care, Optometry, Dental, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health, and more.
How To Help:
Your donation will directly impact patients by helping DCHC preserve its role in providing much-needed services to the New Orleans Metro area community. Funds raised help to defray the cost of health screenings, services, and medications for patients, helping DCHC serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Join us as we carry on the mission and legacy of the Daughters of Charity in New Orleans and help build a healthier community!
