Mission: The mission of the New Orleans JCC is to promote and ensure the well-being of our Jewish community and to instill an understanding of Judaism and its heritage throughout our region.
Founded on Jewish values with inclusivity at the forefront, the New Orleans JCC continues to be a special part of the Greater New Orleans community since 1855. While providing a welcoming environment for our tremendously diverse membership, the New Orleans JCC offers education, culture, wellness, fitness, and recreation to all community members. The JCC also provides need-based financial assistance for Early Childhood Center (ECC) tuition and summer camps, allowing parents to continue to work while their children are nurtured in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
The JCC is proud to house the award-winning Alzheimer’s Care and Enrichment (ACE) program, works with the New Orleans Ballet Association to offer Dance for Parkinson’s, and partners with The 18th Ward and Tulane Special Olympics to increase access to fitness, sports, and recreation for all in our area. With over 1,200 people visiting our fitness centers each day and adults of all ages enjoying weekly educational and social programs, there is no better place to spend time than at the JCC.
