Gayle Benson Named Keynote Speaker ACG Louisiana Women in Corporate Growth

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Louisiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG Louisiana) will host its Women in Corporate Growth Luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans. New Orleans Saints and Pelicans Owner, Gayle Benson will deliver the keynote presentation to 200 women and men in finance, law, investment banking and many other specialties in corporate growth.

According to a press release, the goal of the presentation is to highlight Mrs. Benson’s playbook for success as well as to inspire and motivate women to seek leadership positions in the workplace and in their communities. Tickets are available on the ACG Louisiana website: www.acg.org/ louisiana.

Benson is an accomplished business professional and philanthropist with strong ties to the local community. As dedicated corporate citizens, the Saints and Pelicans annually put millions of dollars back into the community in financial supports, in-kind donation, charitable appearances and donations of goods and services. Benson’s philanthropic leadership has been recognized far and wide since becoming the owner of the teams.

In addition to her ownership of the Saints and Pelicans, Benson established GMB Racing Stables in 2014 with an initial purchase of seven colts and hiring three veteran trainers, all with Louisiana ties. In 2016, two of the thoroughbreds, Mo Tom and Tom’s Ready participated in the Kentucky Derby. Her Lone Sailor horse ran in the 2018 Kentucky Derby. She owns Benson Farm at Greenwood Lodge in Lexington, Ky. She also serves as the Owner of three local automotive dealerships, Best Chevrolet, Cadillac of New Orleans and Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans, the Dixie Beer brand and recently partnered to purchase the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.

ACG Louisiana Women in Corporate Growth was founded in 2017. While embracing and maintaining the principles and goals of ACG Global and the Louisiana Chapter, the network facilitates connections between women leaders in the dealmaking community.
