Gardner Realtors Coordinates Relief Efforts For Hurricane Harvey Victims

NEW ORLEANS – Gardner Realtors, a leading local, full-service real estate company in the Metro New Orleans, Greater Baton Rouge and Mississippi Gulf Coast Regions, is collecting supplies at their offices located throughout the city for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
         They will distribute these donations in person with their local real estate partners in Houston.
         Collection will take place through Friday, Sept. 1, at 24 local Gardner Realtors offices, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

         Donations may be dropped off at any Gardner Realtors office.
         Items requested include:
 
• Clean clothes for adults & children
• Shoes
• Socks
• Linens/towels
• New toiletries
• New underwear
• Diapers
• Baby formula
• Cleaning supplies & detergent
• Bulk food (no electricity-friendly items)
• Feminine hygiene products
• Pet food
• Pet shampoo
• Water
• Gift cards
• Encouraging letters to hurricane victims and first responders
 
         Gardner Realtors reps said in 2005 our neighbors came to our aid when Hurricane Katrina displaced us from our communities. These hospitable friends – and sometimes strangers – opened up their hearts and homes. Now, it’s our turn to give back to our neighbors in Texas, they said.
         Gardner Realtors reps said they support many causes throughout the region, and have a special passion for helping people rebuild their lives. Gardner Realtors is committed to focusing on relief for those who have lost their homes and belongings due to Hurricane Harvey and hopes to bring a sense of comfort to those displaced, reps said.
