NEW ORLEANS – Gambel Communications, a New Orleans-based public relations agency, has announced that Amanda Roberts has joined its team as a communication strategist. The appointment is effective immediately.
Roberts’ client list includes Arc of Greater New Orleans, Greater New Orleans Hotel and Lodging Association, Catholic Charities of Greater New Orleans, Camellia Beans, Dagostino Handmade Pasta, Restore the Mississippi River Detla, Ponchartrain Conservancy and Zea Rotisserie & Bar.
Before joining Gambel, Roberts spent more than a decade in broadcast journalism. An award-winning reporter recognized for her coverage of Hurricane Ida, she most recently served as weekend anchor for FOX 8 New Orleans. Prior to that, she worked at WPSD-TV in Kentucky and at WHDH-TV in Boston. She’s earned several accolades, including being named “Best Reporter” by the Associated Press.

Roberts is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in communication and a minor in Spanish.
