NEW ORLEANS – Local public relations firm Gambel Communications announced in a press release that Cristina Del Canto has joined the team as a communications strategist.
As a communications strategist, Del Canto's job responsibilities include media relations, community relations, special event planning and management and social media for clients representing a variety of disciplines. Del Canto is assisting with a myriad of clients including United Healthcare, BioScrip, Entergy’s Bike to Work, New Orleans Women & Children's Shelter, GiveNOLA Day and Hostelling International USA.

Del Canto holds a Bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University where she double majored in mass Communications and journalism. Del Canto is an avid writer and the founder of the digital literary journal Blue Bonnet Review.
