FroYo Café And Sweets Debuts Innovative Smoothie Pops

NEW ORLEANS – FroYo Café and Sweets, 819 Canal St., is adding a frozen twist to their smoothies. To help beat the hot weather with a focus on health, FroYo’s summer “Smoothie Pops” are just like a frozen popsicle, but it’s a healthier frozen treat made with the same ingredients as their smoothies.

         For added nutrition, customers can add kale or spinach to their smoothie pops in addition to any of the other available nutritional boosts.

         FroYo’s Smoothie Pops are only available in-store and cost $1.25 per pop or $10 for 10. Pricing may vary with the addition of extra ingredients.

         Smoothie flavors include: Orange Ecstasy, Orange Creamsicle, Hawaiian Storm, Mango Madness, Peanut Butter Whirl, Strawberry Scream, Strawberry Banana Incident, Berry Blast, Protein Banana Blend, Soy Smash, Cappuccino Cooler, Chocolate Delight, and Raging Red Bull.

         FroYo features 8 self-serve yogurt machines offering 24 flavors, more than 100 toppings, 14 real fruit and protein smoothies, Hershey’s ice cream, Aunt Sally’s Pralines, New Orleans Roast Coffee and a rotating mix of pastries which include bagels, donuts, brownies, tarts and The King Cake Croissant™, created by Katherine Sutton and produced by local pastry chef Chef Damidot, which is available on demand and by special order.
