NEW ORLEANS – Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane’s (FCF) announced a portion of FCF proceeds will be donated to Liberty’s Kitchen and Café Reconcile. The Fried Chicken Festival is set to take place on Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., at Lafayette Square, located in the Central Business District of New Orleans.
"As an organization, the Spears Group values charitable causes in all of our endeavours,” said Cleveland Spears, III, FCF organizer and President/ CEO of the Spears Group. "It was only appropriate to this festival to help further the mission of organizations that assist youth in the culinary arts. This donation was made possible by the generous support of all our sponsors, and specifically AT&T for making this possible.”
Liberty’s Kitchen and Café Reconcile work to improve the development and future of at-risk youth in New Orleans by teaching life skills and offering professional development opportunities through culinary arts. Liberty’s Kitchen’s Youth Development Program provides youth with the foundation to become employed, and self-sufficient. Representatives from each organization will be present at the festival to accept their donations from leadership of AT&T on stage at the festival.
