METAIRIE, LA – Locally owned and operated gourmet coffeehouse French Press Coffeehouse, with current locations at 3238 Severn Ave., in Metairie, LA, and at 3236 Williams Blvd., in Kenner, LA, announced they have opened a 3rd location on 2120 David Dr. in Metairie, LA.

Owner/ Proprietor Chad Nunez credits his expanding caffeinated empire to the standout frozen beverages he serves up daily.

Nunez said he felt blended coffee beverages left a lot to be desired, so he invented LaFreeze, made to order with fresh espresso and available in decaf, in multiple flavors including Coffee, Caramel, Hazelnut, Praline, Vanilla, Mocha, Southern Pecan, Varamel (Vanilla and Caramel) and White Chocolate. There are also sugar free options and Cream Slushes.

French Press reps said they are flavor perfectionists and set themselves apart by making each drink from scratch, with fresh shots of espresso at the base of their southern inspired blends.

French Press employs more than 20 Metairie and Kenner residents, and loyal customers are rewarded with a free drink on their birthday.

Nunez said his new David Drive location will align with the two existing cafes in filling an important niche for residents and commuters in the Metairie and Kenner areas. Each of his locations have drive-through windows as well as comfortable booth-style seating, offering a mix of overhead and natural lighting and reliable Internet service.
