METAIRIE, LA – French Press Coffeehouse reps say due to the overwhelming demand for their hyper–local signature beverages, the coffee company is opening a new location at 4205 Airline Dr. this spring.
This new location will feature drive-thru service and is scheduled for a soft opening in mid-May.
Owner Chad Nunez’s commitment to crafting high quality blended coffee could well be responsible for the recent surge, French Press reps said. French Press’ hot, iced and frozen beverage recipes seem to have a greater appeal to the Southern palate by mixing up flavors like praline, Southern pecan and varamel (vanilla and caramel), as well as the traditional coffee shop favorites. Each drink is made from scratch, with fresh shots of espresso at the base of each southern inspired blend.
Nunez says the French Press’s fierce customer loyalty is directly responsible for the recent surge in growth.
French Press also offers incentives through its Coffee Club, which rewards customers with a free drink and a birthday card during the month of their birthday. French Press routinely works with the community in the immediate vicinity of all of its locations, thanking them for their consistent patronage, French Press reps said.

The original French Press Coffeehouse is located at 3236 Williams Blvd., in Kenner, and a second store is located at 3238 Severn Ave. in Metairie. A third is located at 2120 David Dr., also in Metairie.
Each French Press location serves breakfast as well as light southern fare including red beans and rice, daily soups and gumbo, sandwiches and assorted pastry and sweets.
